So, when it comes to sound systems, microphones (wireless and otherwise), speakers, etc., which system/branding do you like?  How does one determine what equipment is needed?  Starting off, I guessed on just about everything and my guesses were generally wrong!  For me, the compromise was between how much money I had to spend along with the size of my audience.
