What's the best frequencies for wireless systems?  VHF is certainly the least expensive but I've found that you get a lot of feedback.  What about FM or UHF?  Any suggestions?  What brand is a middle of the road with respect to pricing?

I'm interested in knowing why you might choose a 5 or 6 string bass guitar over the traditional 4 string.  Being a rocker from the '60s I'm very much a 4 string bass guitarist.  What are the advantages?  Disadvantages?
